YofA Musicals
At Year of Arts, our annual musical brings young people together to create something extraordinary. Each production is imagined, written, choreographed, designed, and performed by participants aged 4 to 21, with guidance from our creative team and parents. From the script to the spotlight, every element reflects the imagination, dedication, and teamwork of our young artists.
Our musicals not only showcase exceptional talent, but also build confidence, connection, and a strong sense of community... making them a powerful investment in creativity and youth development.

Our 2026 musical project, The Greatest Show, promises to be our most spectacular production yet; a vibrant celebration of creativity, courage, and collaboration. Inspired by the magic of the circus and the spirit of young dreamers, this youth-led musical will be written, choreographed, designed, and performed by children and young people aged 4 to 21 and we invite you to be a part of it!
We'll explore every aspect of theatre-making, from stagecraft and costume design to lighting, sound, and performance. We invite new families, supporters, and creative partners to join us in bringing this unforgettable show to life and empowering the next generation of artists and storytellers.
Casting and Rehearsals starting January 2026. Click on See Rehearsals below to keep an eye on our calendar. Besides regular rehearsals we will hold a special rehearsal each month focusing on different aspects of theatre and confidence like singing, dance, projection, improv and more.

Our very first musical, Wicked Reimagined (2025) was an extraordinary success, showcasing the incredible creativity and collaboration of young people aged 4 to 21. Written by a 9-year-old girl and entirely produced by participants and their parents - from choreography and acting to set design, costumes, lighting, and sound - the sold-out performance at the Sean O’Casey Theatre was met with standing ovations and glowing feedback.
Beyond the stage, the project built lasting friendships, boosted confidence, and inspired a deep sense of pride and belonging among the children and their families.
